A good French? military rifle after the pattern 1842 made in Liege and marked P. J. MALHERBE & CIE A LIEGE and crowned HW on the back action lock. The rifled barrel is c 83 cm long in calibre c 15 mm marked Peron, ELG i oval, crowned JM and 3668 on the small octagonal part.
