Lundbye mentions this galvanograph, the last of a total of three galvanographs, in his diary on 12th of July 1842 (in Danish): “The last of these galvanographs, a calf's head, has succeeded quite well, also in the eyes of others”.
Examined in frame. The paper has turned slightly brown. Folding mark.
