A French Restauration gilt bronze mounted bed 'Lit en Bateau' mahogany and mahogany over oak, the front of the bed with raised crossed mahogany cornucopia terminating in fine quality gilt bronze baskets of flowers and fruits, new custom made mattress included. France, c. 1820. Outside measurement H. 124 cm. L. 216 cm. D. 128 cm. New custom made mattress L. 190 cm. W. 110 cm.
