Violin. Lenght of back: 59 cm. With red seal on back. Second half of the 19th century. + Violin bow. Both housed in cloth box lined with blue satin.

Enclosed H.C. Lumbye's metronome. Defective. + Wood block and cobber plate (mounted on wood block). Both depicting H.C. Lumbye. Both c. 9,5×8 cm. (4)

The violin has been exhibited in Tivoli.

Provenance: Descendants of the Danish composer H.C. Lumbye (1810–1874)

Condition

The violin was repaired by royal Instrument maker Th. Jacobsen, 1855.
