Fredrik Jürgensen (1787–1843), brother of Urban Jürgensen (1776–1830), took over the operation of the business when his father, Jürgen Jürgensen, died in 1811. The same year he was appointed Royal Court Watchmaker after his father. Fredrik Jürgensen is estimated to have made approximately 500 pocket watches in the period 1811–1843.
