A Russian two-colour gold and silver cigarette case, of upright oval form with hinged lid, decorated with translucent blue enamel on guilloched ground, edges chased with laurel leaves, cabochon ruby pushpiece. Andrei Adler, St. Petersburg 1908–1917, 56 and 88 standard. Retailed by Avenir Ivanovich Sumin in St. Petersburg. Weight c. 144 g. H. 10 cm. W. 5.5 cm. D. 2 cm.
