A Danish South Jutland parcel-gilt silver “hovedvandsæg” vinaigrette, gilt interior, set with 25 red, blue and green facetted glass stones, square base with balm hide, pricked with owner's name and date “N. Speggers 1844”. Maker Georg Frederik Biehl, Sønderborg, b. 1785, d. 1856. Weight 86 g. H. 13 cm.

Wear due to age and use. Some glass stones with minor chips/cracks, the cover missing one glass stone. The crown/cover with a few minor cracks. The balm hide cover can not close.
