The present drawing is a study for a larger painting “A Reciter of ”Orlando Furioso“ at the Molo, Naples” from 1839 located at Statens Museum for Kunst, inventary no. KMS393.
Provenance: Winkel & Magnussen auction 377, 1953 no. 28.
