A gentleman's wristwatch of 18k gold. Model Cellini, ref. 4350. Mechanical movement with manual winding, cal. 1601. Champagne-coloured dial with gold hour markers and hands. Integrated Rolex bracelet of 18k gold with folding clasp. Circumference app. 18.5 cm. Watch diameter 27×36 mm. 1970s.
Case back no. 782. Provenance: Bruun Rasmussen auction 821 lot 781. This particular watch was purchased by Simon Spies at authorized Rolex retailer Klarlund in Copenhagen. He purchased two watches of the same reference and gave this piece to Karl Olsen, who was co-founder and CEO of Spies Rejser. Simon Spies wore the other watch until his death in 1984.
