Title leaf, preliminary leaves and last leaf repaired and with faded inscription. Narrow margins. Bound in cont. full calf with gilt spine, red edges. Title label on spine renewed.
The Norwegian Society (Norske Selskab) was a literary society for Norwegian students in Copenhagen from 1772 to 1813. Its members included authors, poets and philosophers including the Danish-Norwegian poet, satirist and playwright Johan Herman Wessel.
