The Danish artist Rasmus Styrmer (b. 1989) lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark. Styrmer is educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. He works based on varying media such as painting, performance, film, sound, sculpture, installation, and photography. His artistic practice focuses on thoughts about gender, identity, and our individual and collective perceptions of reality in the world around us. He constantly experiments with different timelines, sensations and references that abstractly converge in his works. Represented by Jacob Bjorn Gallery.

The work is part of a charity auction to benefit “Børns Vilkår” (Children's Rights Denmark). The auction is initiated and curated by “Curated by Jens-Peter Brask”. The artists have generously donated their works. Bruun Rasmussen Auctioneers do not charge fees or commission so the total proceeds will go undiminished to Børns Vilkår's important work.
