A Russian icon with depiction of the Mother of God of Kazanskaja. Tempera on wooden panel, mounted with brass rizza and wood kiot. Late 19th century. 29×26 cm. (2)

Minor wear due to age, including - Athanasius: Few and minor retouches; scratches, peelings and crackles, a crack at the upper left corner. Mother of God of Kazanskaja: Minor crackles, rizza with dented parts on the halos, kiot with minor wear due to age (e.g. damaged lock and loose glass).
