A long-barreled brass-mounted unsigned civilian flintlock pistol circa 1720–40 with fluted butt cap, blank, rounded slightly banana-shaped lock, pierced side plate and approx. 34.5 cm. long octagonal at the rear and round at the front barrel in calibre approx. 16 mm. inlaid with brass foliage above the powder chamber and marked LONDON.
Condition
The fore-stock renewed, the iron somewhat spotted.
