A fine German hunting hanger c 1725–50 mounted in gilded brass with grips in white bone heldt by three rivets and a single edged c 55 cm long blade marked crowned M and VIVAT MAXIMILIANUS on one side and with a crowned crest on the other as well as a faint inscription.

A small part of the gilding on the hilt gone, the blade is spotted and the engraving partly gone.
