In the Yellow Hall at Peterhof there is a gobelin embroidered in the early nineteenth century after the painting by Steuben which shows Peter the Great rescuing fishermen during a storm on Lake Ladoga. This gobelin was commissioned by Napoleon I, but was finished in the reign of Louis XVIII who presented it to Alexander I.
The paper is yellowed with a few stains and irregularities.
