An antique 19th century iron ball. Diam. 13 cm. Enclosed wrought iron stand. H. 14. L. 27. W. 28 cm. And a print of the frigat SMS Gefion. Visible size 11×19 cm. (2)

The SMS Gefion participated in the combat at Eckernförde during the First Schleswig War (1848–50). The present canon ball is founded in the fiord.

Condition

Wear due to use and age. The print derives from a book.
