Vol. I with occasional foxing to preliminary leaves, dampstaining to upper part of some of the leaves. Most plates clean. Bound in full calf, wear to upper and lower headbands. No repairs. Labels on spines in red and green morooco, all edges red. (2)

Laurids de Thurah (1706–59) is the principal representative of Baroque architecture in Denmark. This is his monumental masterwork on Danish architecture, complete with 281 engraved plates by the Germans Michael Keyl and C.L. Wüst. Bibl. Dan. II, 602; Graesse VII,153; Brunet V, 851.
