A Tibetan thangka of Green Tara. She is seated centrally in lalitasana on a lotus throne, right hand extended forward in teh boon granting gesture and holding a lotus stem, the left hand is raised and holds a lotus stem, she wears a crown adorned with Amitabha in the centre, above her Vajrasattva and Avalokitesvara. Verso with vermillion ink syllable inscription. 19th century. Image 57×38 cm.
