Knut Hamsun: Autographed and signed letter sent to Harald Grieg. Dated Grimstad 13.01.28. 2 pages.
The letter is written to the Norwegian publisher Harald Grieg (1894–1972), director of Gyldendal Norsk Forlag and for many years a leading figure in the Norwegian book industry. In the letter Hamsun tell's Grieg about one of his favorite books - a Polish work by Rufin Piotrowski. Hamsun want's Gyldendal to translate and publish the book which actually happened “En polsk Flyktning Historie” (A Polish Refugee's History).
