A Russian Staurotheke icon with depictions of the life of Jesus Christ, namely The Descent from the Cross and The Entombment, centrally an inserted brass cross with The Cruxifiction. Tempera on wooden panel. 19th century. 52×42 cm.

Noted on the reverse that the icon was formerly acquired in Berlin 1930.

Condition

Among others cracks, marks, peelings and crackles.
