According to information on the reverse from 1983, the portraits are Gunnar Hansen and his mother Clara Bentzen, who knew each other from the early years at the academy.

The painter Agnes Louise Agnete Jensen is educated at Frøknerne Munst and Luplaus drawing school and then Academic Model School. She exhibits at the artists' autumn exhibition several times, as well as at Charlottenborg. In 1930, she marries Edvard Weie, after which she completely abandons her artistic career.
