Portrait of a nobleman in burgundy-coloured jacket and with black neck bow. Signed Darbes pinx. 1779. Oval. 60×47 cm. Period gilded rococo frame with pearl moulding and ornamentation.

Larger crackles. Minor older retouches under the varnish. Minor peeling to the left in brown background. In need of a light surface cleaning.
