Biblia [...]. Copenhagen: Printed by Mads Vingaard 1588–1589. Folio. Incomplete. Lacking title and some other leaves. With browning, foxing and repairs. Bound in later full calf.
It was the Danish King Frederik II who commissioned a new edition of the first Danish folio Bible (1550). However, he died in 1588, just before the work was finished. The Bible was the first to be printed by a Dane (Vingaard) and it was the largest printing undertaken in Denmark during the 16th century.
