A collection of 10 Baroque silver and parcel-gilt silver spoons, comprising two Danzig spoons, maker Christian Pichgel I, Danzig 1681–1700 and maker Johann Conrad Stentzel, Danzig 1745–1763; two Breslau spoons, maker Gottfried Heintze, Breslau 1673–1707 and maker Gottfried Ihme, Breslau, year letter B = 1712–1721; a pair of spoons, hallmarked with silver fineness 12; four unmarked spoons, of these two handle finials cast with cherub heads, one with angel and one with facetted ball. Germany 17th-18th century. Weight in total 750 g. L. 18.5–24 cm. (10)

Provenance: The Danish Envoy and Consul General Hans Poul Hoffmeyer (1893–1962). Thence by descent with residence in Denmark, until today.
