Svend Sørensen Ring (b. Jelling 1893, d. Copenhagen 1933)
A Royal Copenhagen porcelain vase with slender neck, decorated in colours and iron oxide with ornamentation. Signed Ring 3–19. H. 46 cm.
Bought by the present owner's family directly from the artist. The vase was created by Arnold Krog in 1898, but never put into production with this decoration by Svend Ring, who was engage at Royal Copenhagen between 1919–1923.
Condition
3rd quality with minor irregularities on the upper rim. Surface with minor sandings/marks. Bottom with a drilled-out plug, which was later reattached.
