A Russian satinated silver samovar, of baluster form, gilt interior, concave lid with button-shaped finial, round upper stem with pierced stylized flower wreath, on a domed top with steam hole and two button-shaped knobs, body with two serpentine handles including insulation, front engraved with a Rococo Revival cartouche, pierced switch, lower stem with open geometric wreath, on a square base with four flat supports, bottom with a round shutter to the firing space, all including mother-of-pearl finial, knobs, insulation and switch. Carl Fabergé, assayer Ivan Sergeievich Lebedkin in Moscow 1896–1908, 84 standard. Weight c. 3,612 g. H. 41 cm. W. 31 cm.

Provenance: Acquired by present Swedish private owner in Finland around 20 years ago.
