A fine Indian temple sword with a variant Indo-Muslim gold inlaid hilt. The hilt with down-turned quillons ending in dragon's heads are finely inlaid with golden koftgari work all over. The double edged blade with two broad, flat fullers are c. 71 cm long swollen at the top and there chiselled with a large rose and florals in golden koftgari.
