A Danish Regence silver peg tankard, the body chased all over with arabesques and strapwork enclosing cartouches with cherubs, the hinged cover with similar chased decoration, the centre engraved with circular cartouche with monogram, scroll handle with forked pomegranate thumbpiece, raised on three cast pomegranate supports. The reverse engraved with weight Wog 66 lod 1 q. Maker Jens Pedersen Komløv, Copenhagen 1741. Weight 942 g. H. incl. thumbpiece 17 cm.
