THERAPY is Tommaso Sacconi’s story of how he has struggled to throw away objects he has owned, and collected, for years. By arranging them in groups and photographing them, he is able to celebrate the detachment and fills the gap of lost ownership.
The jury agreed that Tommaso Sacconi’s project reflects an important topical discussion concerning our emotional attachment towards ownership and questions what it means to own something from a unique personal perspective.
