A collection of Russian and Soviet collector's items, comprising brass cross, carved wood dish, carved wood box, two laquered boxes decorated en miniature with horses, and two boxes with dolls, respectively 15 pieces of fabric and papier-mâché plus 12 pieces of plastic, all dolls depicting folk costumes. From early-20th century to second half of the 20th century. H. cross 20 cm. Diam. dish 34 cm. L. boxes 32 cm.; 20 cm, and 10 cm. H. dolls c. 9 cm. and 6 cm. (7).

Provenance: Acquired by the Danish ambassador, Jørgen Adamsen (1920–2010), when he was posted as charge d'affaires at the Danish Embassy in Moscow 1960–1964. Thence by descent to his son with residence in Denmark until today.

Condition

Minor wear due to age and use, including minor chips, scratchs, cracks and chips.
