An Austrian Empire mantel clock of gilded bronze, adorned with profile portrait of the composer Franz Joseph Haydn (b. 1732- d. 1809), flanked by music playing figures. Vienna, early 19th century. H. 51 cm. W. 39 cm. D. 13 cm.

Condition

Wear due to age and use. No guarantee of the function of the clock work. Pendulum and winding key is enclosed. One hand is missing. The movement in need of cleaning.
