Engraved title, plate list and 90 engraved architectural plates. Measurement of plates: 42.5×62.5 cm. Annotated: “J.P. Jacobsen købt paa Auction efter Overbygnings Direktør Hansen 1846.” Restoration to title page and a few other leaves. Foxing to plates and some leaves affected by marginal damp-staining. Enclosed catalogue entitled “Fortegnelse over endeel Effecter, Lösöre, Böger og Kunstsager” of the auction sale after architect C.F. Hansen. Bound in cont. half calf with title label on frontboard. C.F. Hansen, was the leading Danish architect between the late 18th century and the mid 19th century and he was known as “Denmark’s Palladio” on account of the architectural style he promoted. The book was exhibited in Altonaer Museum, Hamburg in 2000 (“C.F. Hansen in Hamburg, Altona und den Elbvororten”). Brunet II, 904.
