An English mahogany tea caddy with string inlay and ring handles, raised on paw feet, deep red velvet lining. 19th century. H. 18. L. 31. W. 15 cm.

Chips and cracks to the veneer. Part of the veneer missing at the inner rim of lid. The veneer slightly warped in the left side of the lid. One foot loose, newer screws. Velour slightly loose by the lock. Scratches and marks. Content and key not enclosed. Wear due to age and use.
