“Sepolcro di Cecilia Metella”. The grave of Caecilia Metella. Inscribed in print Piranesi F. Etching. Platesize c 45×64 cm.

The etching is made after 1870, when a blind stamp was added to the plate: “”Regia Calcografia di Roma".

Condition

The paper has turned slightly brown. Damp discolourations. Examined in frame.
