A good gilded Danish officers sabre for a high-ranking officer after 1819 in its scabbard. The grip with a lioness’s pommel, no hand guard, a c 80 cm long curved single edged blade with a broad fuller on each side in a gilded brass scabbard with the large Danish coat of arms as used 1819–1903 on the top.

Condition

Most of the gilding gone. The mother of pearl inlays on the grip gone. The blade spotted and somewhat nicked.
