Finn Juhl (b. Frederiksberg 1912, d. Ordrup 1989)
“Chieftain Chair”. A teak easy chair. Seat, armrests and back upholstered with original patinated natural leather, back fitted with buttons. Designed 1949. Made 1950s by cabinetmaker Niels Vodder, not stamped.
Provenance: Given by Finn Juhl and his first wife Inge-Marie Skaarup to her father on the occasion of a work anniversary. Later by descent to Finn Juhl's and Inge-Marie Skaarup's adoptive son Claus Juhl and later passed on to his daughter.
