“UN Chair”. A pair of mahogany armchairs. Seat and back upholstered with original, patinated black leather. Model B 37. Designed 1949. These examples made 1951–54 by cabinetmaker Jacob Kjær, with maker's paper label. (2)
Provenance: Edward Wormley, New York. Hereafter in private collection. Exhibited: One chair exhibited at a Scandinavian Furniture exhibition organized by Dunbar Furniture Corporation, chair with property paper label.
