Two Danish Rococo silvergilt and parcel-gilt “hovedvandsæg” vinaigrettes, both covers set with a glass stone. Maker Johan Kongsbach, Copenhagen 1762–1806 and maker Peter J. Berg, Copenhagen c. 1768. Weight 61 g. H. 7 and 6.5 cm. (2)

Condition

Wear due to age and use. Lightly worn gilding. Berg vinaigrette: Missing piece of inner top rim, the cover does not close tightly, body with minor perforation.
