Early edition of one of the most important mathematical works by Leonhard Euler. The original edition was published in St. Petersburg in 1770 and a French edition was published in 1774. This work includes Euler's solution to the Fermat's Theorem.
First edition of Descartes’ letters published posthumously. The book consists of 119 letters to and from Descartes concerning science and other topics. A second volume appeared in 1659 and a third in 1667.
