Muhammad Ali, who had given up his birth name Cassius Clay at the time of his conversion to Islam, came out as the victor when he met Henry Cooper in 1966. This had happened once before, at their first encounter, which took place at Wembley Stadium on June 18th 1963. 35.000 people watched the first clash, 46.000 the latter.
