Ole Hedeager is one of the few Danish artists working in the “drip painting” style. His paintings are often created outdoors, with the canvas laid flat on the ground, allowing the paint to flow and drip freely. Inspired by the technique made famous by Jackson Pollock in the 1940s, Hedeager takes his own approach: he focuses on figures and faces, giving them life through dripping brushstrokes that create a sense of movement and depth. The result is a unique blend of spontaneity and figurative precision, where the subject almost seems to emerge naturally on the canvas.
