Tugtupite is a white to deep red mineral found in 1957 at Tugtup Agtaorfia, Greenland, and is mentioned as Greenland's national stone. Tugtugpite is unusual in showing strong fluorescence when illuminated with UV light.
The pendant is hallmarked 'Sølvform' owned by Ole Bent Petersen, Copenhagen 1973–1990.
