The large Danish coat of arms. Unsigned. Oil on canvas. 87×58 cm.
The coat of arms which was used 1819–1903. It is the first version of the national coat of arms introduced after the removal of the Norwegian lion, and the last version that used Iceland's traditional coat of arms - a crowned silver-colored clipfish on a red bottom.
A few peelings and two minimal holes. Some marks from the stretcher visible at the front.
