A late 19th century Dutch sterling silver tea kettle and stand. Handle mounted with turned ivory. Circular base mounted with wood, raised on four oval ball-supports. Unidentified maker's mark M/G. 19th century. Burner maker J.M. van Kempen & Zoon, year mark D=1888. Weight excl. stand 1514 g. H. excl. handle 32 cm.

Condition

Wear due to age and use. A few marks, possibly corrosion. Handle with repair. Ivory with some cracks. Stand with dents and repairs/soldering. The burner missing the cover.
