A Tibetan gilt bronze figure of lama Tsongkhapa seated in dhyanasana on a double cushion throne covered by two blankets, engraved with flowers and foliage. Right hand in vitarka mudra, the left resting on his lap carrying a lidded jar. His right side flanked by a lotus stem. Sealed bottom, circa 1800. Weight 1087 g. H. 15 cm.
