Cph: Printed by Martzan and Sartor 1633. Folio. With 3 engraved title pages and portrait of King Chr. IV engraved by Simon de Pas. Richly illustrated with woodcuts in the text. Two fly leaves inscribed, one with verse “Kom, Hellig Himmel-Lys! og hviil paa Herrens Bord / Kom frem Velsignede med Nye-Aars Lys! Du lærer / at den, som [...]” and one with dedication. Half title, title page and portrait. [21], 353 pp + title page + 2–226 + title page, 2–158 + Register (index). Bound in a contemporary full calf binding over wooden boards, with silver mountings, donated by Birthe Cathrine Levetzau to Valdemars Slot in 1775. Gilt and gauffered edges.

Christian IV's bible is the last of the three folio size bibles printed in Denmark and Norway.
