This work is part of The Censored Exhibition of Copenhagen Photo Festival 2019 and exhibited at Festivalcentrum, Refshaleøen, Copenhagen from 6 to 16 June.

In the series Animals, Annika Björndotter explores the process in which animals be-come food. Heads and hoofs are photo-graphed in a classic lighting and question our relationship with animals, death and the food we eat.

The jury selected these works for both their classical and innovative approach to the still life, while making references to traditional Swedish culture.
