Danish cabinetmaker
A set of 10 mahogany chairs, curved back with vertical slats, shoes of brass. Seat upholstered with original patinated natural leather, fitted with brass nails. Made circa 1930–1940. (10)
Condition
Patina due to age and use. Frame with marks and scratches. Leather with extensive wear including surface scratches, marks, scratches from cat, blotches and heat marks. Some surface crackles. One seat with crackles/scratches piercing the leather. Some chairs with somewhat loose fittings.
