A Danish South Jutland vase shaped partly gilt silver “hovedvandsæg” vinaigrette, interior gilt, lid with pierced crown, set with 37 red, green and blue glass stones, hexagonal base with balm hide, pricked with owner's initials and year I C Jüfsen 1835. Maker Reimar Diedrich Dethlefsen Sønderborg c. 1819–1836, widow continues until 1860. 19th century. Weight 81 g. H. 12 cm.
