A C. 1900 Polish icon of the Mother of God and inscription “Pod Twoją obronę uciekamy się”. Tempera on wooden panel, mounted with repoussé brass oklad and crown. Visible size 16×12 cm. The frame 25×21 cm.

Minor crackles. Wear due to use and age. Part of the gesso missing in one side of the frame.
